This is your fellow gamer R3dranger117 / MicroSurface117, and this is a message for 343 industries and to all that are interested in making this possible.
Recently there was a post on Instagram in regards to our opinion on Halo Infinite not having a Battle Royale mode. It had me thinking and I believe it is possible for 343 Industries to create a game mode that is very similar to the gaming communities perspective to B.R.
Script to the game mode, Consider the following:
only Big maps (BTB maps or bigger) 6, 8, or 12 players, from fireteams of 2 or 4 or solo
Start out the game as a breakout simulation, getting launched into game
Everyone starts with NOTHING, no Spartan abilities, no shields, no weapons
The objective is fixed based on THE BEST map positions (max 3), that way it can vary based on elimination and area selection
just like how B.R is designed players will be required to find weapons (variants available) and spartan abilities (even from warzone) and remain as the last player or fireteam standing, eliminating all others.
Possibilities:
2 rounds max
2 lives (spawn timing: 15- 30 seconds based on performance death)
2nd time spawning players are then given OS off spawn until they are able to acquire 2 weapons
REWARDS
Gold packs to winners
silver or bronze to all participants
I love Halo. Let us make this possible and knock out all other FPS from the leaderboards and put Halo back on top!
I don’t want a BR mode in Halo Infinite, Halo is very well going to be back on top with Halo 3 becoming relevant again. I just don’t feel Halo needs one, every game seems to be doing it now.

I don’t have Instagram, so you’ll have to sum it up for me. What is “our” opinion of Halo not having a battle royale mode?

But like, what is the gaming community’s perspective on it? I’ve seen lots of Halo fans say they don’t want Halo to jump on the battle royale bandwagon, which I tend to agree with.

Actually, can Halo Infinite please not have req packs at all? Halo is better when it doesn’t have lootboxes.
They confirmed no BR mode. But thats not to say someone can’t forge one & create it in customs. If its good enough maybe it can get tossed in as a rotational, who knows!
no body said it’s impossible, heck I believe 343 could make a pretty decent br game but the real issues are relevance and resources. the biggest one being resources. if 343 decides to put br in infinite now then they’re gonna have to divert a lot of attention to it and start putting less focus into the rest of the game considering how big most successful br games are (especially map size and halo is not one to have just 1 map for a big game mode). this was one of halo 5’s issues. as much as I love warzone I have to admit it did hurt halo 5 because of how much 343 catered to it with the req system and neglect of certain content at launch as well as the rushed story. throwing in br at this point would just make that worse. and on top of that we have relevance. br would be one of the few good features in infinite (considering the scenario I’ve mentioned before) but by the time infinite finally comes out which many people think will be around 2020, the br genre will essentially have died off. fortnite and pubg might be barely surviving at that point but any other new guys that show up certainly won’t make it very far which would over all just make infinite look like a bad game.
if you ask me, I think they should just give us larger forge canvases, higher bar limits, and larger player count for custom games. that way people can make their own decent br maps. people already do this with halo 5 but as amazing as halo 5’s forge is it has too many limits for a good br game mode.

it was confirmed that infinite won’t have “real money” loot boxes. I assume this means the req system without the option to pay for packs with money but your guess is as good as mine at this point.
Halo doesn’t need a BR mode. I personally, feel it’s a trend that they don’t need to focus on. Halo is so iconic for so many things, they’d do just fine without it.
