this is my first time doing this an I am a halo fan a day 1 fan! but I would like to give you some of my ideas! I already know that you’re not into the battle royal but I think you should consider it! plus I have some really great Ideas for a halo battle royal that would destroy all other games even fortnite it would be the biggest and greatest game out that nobody could compete with! so I would like to start by saying that it will be a boots on the ground game just like halo/halo2 and halo 3 the greatest halo games ever made and I want to make something even greater well give you my ideas for something greater!
Halo battle royal could start out with an ODST drop into the map where you have nothing but fists to defend yourself with until you find a gun
I hope halo does NOT include a battle royal mode. Halo has so much more to focus on. Adding that may force less time on the game modes that make halo great… And having a BR mode, would force them to implement new aspects to the multiplayer which would IMO drastically change halos feel. More so then the new additions we got in Halo 5. Go play other games if you want BR mode. Halo is iconic and shouldn’t follow such a “in the moment” trend.

Yes, I sort of agree, I’m one of the only people in the group of my friends who has broke away from the clutches of Fortnite BR.
But if there was a way to make a battle royal custom game mode with some sort of ODST drop, I would be satisfied

Would a Forge Map with a custom Gametype being 16-player FFA Elimination count? Because one of my current Forge projects is that. (It will also be made for BTB Snipers/Strongholds/Assault)
A Halo BR would be awesome. The ODST idea is sooo clever!
Battle Royale already exists since Halo Reach, a Deathmatch without respawn where the players start without weapon on Forge World in customgame.
But a BattleRoyale like PUGB , Fortnite or Apex … no…just no on Halo…no please…no

Hmm… Sorry. I was distracted by the fact that I somehow read this in the voice of a old school Halo Grunt… Even stranger… The voice made sense.
But, Battle Royal? How about no!
WHY do people keep asking for things that are FOLLOWING trends? How come no one is trying to help push Halo to BE THE DAMN TREND, like how Halo CE was back in the day.
I wouldn’t mind it as a limited time mode like a ladder or a competition and only on pre existing maps. That way it won’t take much resources or time to implement.
To clarify further I think if it were to be introduced it should never be a focus of the multiplayer side of things.

Being too optimistic? The game would need to be free to play, playable on PC and every console, have a ton of micro-transactions shoved in, occasionally leak your personal data and be visually and technically creative as a rock to attract the usual target group 4-14.
If anything I think 343 has gotten the attention of a lot of old school gamers like me with their PC announcements of MCC and Infinite and I wouldn’t want Halo any other way. I played Fortnite 4 or 5 rounds I think before getting absolutely bored of it.
I don’t think a battle royale would make a good official game or game mode. A custom game for this would be okay, have all players spawn in the sky at random points, give them no weapons but find some on the map. We already have something similar to this with DayZ it wouldn’t be hard to give players no lives and move the spawn points.
