In btb everyone gets one, and it’s annoying. I like btb but when entombed comes up I know it’s a br fest. Some maps players shouldn’t spawn woth brs, it makes the assults rifle usless
Look at it this way, it’s the only playlist where you start off with the BR, so I think that is very fair!

Spawning with a BR as secondary has been a thing since Halo 2 BTB. Even if they exchanged the br for a magnum, people would use the magnum for longer range kills just like in arena slayer etc.
Use the br at mid to long distances and use the ar when coming around tight corners. It’s all game mechanics man…taking out the br would destroy the gametype.
At least you get a fair advantage.
No, it doesn’t make the AR useless. It forces you to use the AR in a situation where it would be effective, you can’t cross map people with them.
There are plenty of tight places and choke points in BTB maps where the AR rips through people. The BTB maps are larger and it just makes sense to have a BR start. Just because you keep getting killed by people using a BR in BTB doesn’t mean they need to change it.

Hey you shut up with your logic, let me re phrase, I don’t think there are enough close range parts that are meaningful enough on one or two of the maps like entombed
Entombed has more than enough places for the AR to shine. There are the 3 Stronghold areas, the cave, the power weapon spawn areas, and outside Blue Base. Only in the open areas when moving between these areas are where the BR destroys.
