Battle Rifle sounds like Silenced PP7!

love the look of Halo 4 and I’m eagerly awaiting its release in November. But I’m not sure about the sound of the Battle Rifle, from what I’ve heard of it so far it just sounds a little weak. In Halo 2 and 3 it was a powerful sounding weapon, but in Halo 4 it almost sounds like they’ve put a silencer on the damn thing!

Personally I don’t like this, but perhaps other people prefer the new sound of the Battle Rifle. Your thoughts please guys and gals…

I like the old sound, but don’t mind the new one.

While I’m not fond of the current BR sound, the Halo 3 BR didn’t sound very intimidating either. It kind of sounded like popcorn to me.

I remember criticizing the DMR’s pop corn sound, but the Halo 4 BR’s sound is depressing for what we used to have in Halo 2 and 3.
