The New battle rifle lacks from that power rounds that each shoot you take makes you believe you’re doing a lot of damage , it a very poor sound effect . Also many weapons don’t deliver a decent amount of damage.been playing since halo 1 and I haven’t heard an weapon with that weak sound.
It’s always sounded different and this is one of the best, if not the best version of the BR we’ve had since or including Halo 3. All hail the BR and hope it’s the starting weapon in ranked.

I’m not a 343i fanboy or anything, the game has a lot room to improve to say at least. But the sounddesign of the weapons are really good.
i think they nailed the BR in this game. the only problem with it is that its scarce. it should be a starting weapon as far as im concerned or at least all over the map
I’m in the middle when it comes to the BR. On one hand I think it looks great and I’m kind of okay with the sound, although it could stand to sound a little more beefy. However I’m not a fan of getting outclassed by the AR or the sidekick in most confrontations. I could be wrong about this but it also feels like it has massive drop off damage, like I swear I pegged a guy 7 consecutive times upper body and head from a distance but I don’t think it even broke shields.
