Do you think the battle rifle has been ruined in halo 5. The battle rifle is my favourite weapon in halo and in halo 5 it has been ruined. The sight is gone and sound is definitely different they should have just kept it how it was in 2-3.
Is it just the sound you have a problem with?
I Think it was gone in Halo 4. It sounded horrible then but I don’t mind it now

I’m not a fan of ADS on any of the weapons not just the BR
The weapon still handles the same, functions the same and is still a 4sk, so I wouldn’t say its ruined by any stretch of the imagination
I’m not a big fan of the new ammo counter, and the scope is as much of a bastardization as any other weapon thanks to SS, but at least the sound is improved. I don’t know who approved of the final Halo 4 BR sound, but it sounded like a baseball card in the spokes of a bicycle.
Yellow LCD looks bad compared to the dark orange one or the original blue one. Sound is not bad but not good, why not just use the H2A campaign sound? Way better imo.
I like the new one. I like how it looks when using smart scope. it just feels like you’re actually aiming a weapon to me.

Eh. I preferred my BR with a scope instead of ADS. Functionally it’s the same at least. Haven’t got a problem with the way ADS has been done on the other guns at all, in fact I think it’s a good addition for automatics especially, but the BR has taken a
step back in my eyes, looks too much like a FAMAS in this game too.

I hated the BR in Halo 4 so much, that sound is just unpleasant. I think the Halo 5 version sounds and looks better. As for how it functions/time to kill i’m not sure…haven’t played the game yet.

It causes obstruction of your screen and grants certain weapons certain bonus’ while using ADS, these are the two main reasons I do not like ADS in halo
The old smart link zoom was (IMO) superior in every way

Sounds like it has a suppressor on it. Sounds weak. Doesn’t have the umf power sound anymore.

Smart Scope does no impact what so ever to your weapons range, damage, accuracy. Get off your high horse. There is no lie. It is cosmetic.

Sorry my friend but if you honestly believe this you’ve been living under a rock
Its been confirmed by Josh holmes several times that automatic weapons receive damage, accuracy range buffs and headshot multipliers while in smart scope
You can argue me all you want but I’m correct in stating this
ADS was in halo 1~4 with BR pistol ect… Now they just added an actual animation of it in H5 an added it to every weapon in the game. If you disagree then you haven’t played halo.

You will notice at the 5:00 mark where it mentions
“REDUCE bonus’ for auto matic weapons while in smart scope/w headshot”
So why did they have to REDUCE the bonus’ if there were no bonus’ to begin with as you contend?

I love having the BR and the DMR all in one game. Its nice
