It says it “improves overall weapon accuracy even when not using precision aiming”… does this confirm that weapons in Halo 5 will be customizable? Increasing and decreasing weapon damage/range/fire rate etc. similar to that of the russian PC Halo Online game? Could it be an entire new version of the battle rifle? Or maybe just a written description of the weapon (as seen on armor pieces)

If it’s going to require you to pay, they’re going to make it more than aesthetics. I think even this community will largely say “NO” to paying money for aesthetic-only customizations. Might as well put a laser/red-dot sight on the BR…why the heck not at this point?

Neither do I. I think he’s saying that we’ll say no to purchaseable weapon camos. I know I won’t. But it’d be cool that the only camos were from pre orders at certain retailers. Show off where you got it from. But heck, I’m buying Req Cards so might as well buy some camos!

I’m stating the obvious - there must be sufficient incentive in order for customers to actually go through with making payments for any/all products/services. Apparently I wrongly assumed that some digital gun skins wouldn’t be enough to get others’ money around here. I now know that’s not the case. Apologies for my inaccurate assumption; that’s my mistake.
Wait, an exclusive version of the BR with… different stats?
Please, gods, no. I thought the ‘Common’ and ‘Legendary’ tags on the weapons meant that previous ‘Loadout’ weapons were ‘Common’ and more advanced things like the Phaeton were ‘Legendary’. Please don’t let there be variants with different stats, even in Warzone.

These dont just sound like weapon skins… a Battle Rifle with laser sight that apparently increases accuracy, and a long barrel SMG (i assume reduces bullet spread with a longer barrel). Does this confirm weapon customization?
