I really hope this isn’t still a 5 shot kill weapon. There is no point nerfing it down to 5 shots with the new additions of Sprint and actually useful close range weapons.
It’s a mid range weapon. And really, you should only be using the BR if you plan on fighting at mid-range.

It will play out how it always has. Optimal at mid range, but useable at close and long range depending on the skill of the person using it. Its the main weapon for a reason, versatility. Nerfing it down to 5 shots in Multiplayer is just wrong though. The DMR is a 5 shot kill and it probably shoots faster.

The BR shoots faster I believe but the recoil will surprass it from being as effective at long range than it would be at mid-range.

The recoil is almost nonexistent based on the videos we’ve seen. Spread does a good enough job making the BR hard to use at longer ranges. Making it a 5 shot kill for “balance” however is absolutely pointless.
didnt it have 36 bullets in the mag so wouldnt that be the same as halo 3.i mite be wroug thou

The recoil is easily controllable yes, I have no idea why though they are making it five shot.
Probably to balance it out with the DMR. Although that is uncertain.
