Battle pass

I hope we can earn points for the battle pass in Halo Infinites campaign the only reason I say this is are there some weapons skins that I would love to use in campaign in the Master Chief collection they made the weapon skins available in campaign so I’m hoping they do the same in Halo Infinite at launch but I doubt it because this is 343 we’re talking about they could really take some lessons from games like Doom Eternal and Aliens Fireteam I know most people play online PvP but Halo Infinite has had a campaign since well it was created so I feel like if you’re gonna award the PvP players with weapon skins cosmetics for armor and stuff then you should really do the same for campaign players because if you don’t then it basically feels like you’re catering to the PvP players only and don’t give a crap about campaign players I mean sure they’ve improved the graphics in campaign but I want to be able to use the weapon skins armor skins and a bunch of other stuff I can think of in the campaign and not just PvP I mean I feel like they took a step in the right direction in Halo the Master Chief collection where you could up to about six points in campaign

Please use punctuation to break up your paragraph, it’s hard to read like this. As for being able to use your own skins and armour in campaign, I personally don’t think it makes much sense. It’s supposed to be Master Chief’s story not some random Spartans story, but I suppose it doesn’t hurt to give players the option once they’ve beaten it once to use their own armour. With MCC it’s complicated because they’re trying to add features to games over 10 years old that were never designed to have different skins or armour available, it’s not as easy as people would like to think it is. As for earning points in the campaign, it would be nice but I’m not sure 343 will go that route.

Someone tells this person to use punctuation every post. They’ve been doing it awhile. My guess is that either English isn’t their first language or they don’t understand.

I agree with you though. It being centered on Master Chief, I don’t think it makes sense to allow armor customization.

I absolutely agree with the other takes I’ve seen here so far regarding it not making much sense for the single-player campaign to allow use of your MP Spartan’s progression items. That said, I’ve long thought it would be an awesome idea for 343i to allow people to play as their MP Spartans as players 2-4 when Campaign Co-op finally rolls out. You can’t really have a mainline Halo campaign without Chief being P1, but allowing subsequent co-op players to use their own Spartans would really be a fun incentive for more folks to run campaign co-op with their friends. It would also be a huge breath of fresh air for people like me who enjoy customizing their MP Spartan, but strongly prefer PvE play to competitive or even social MP playlists. Lore-wise, having a small handful of SIV’s assisting Chief doesn’t feel like an abhorrent idea, either.

So far, I’m not really sure I’ll be engaging with the first seasons of the multiplayer experience. With no “Firefight” style PvE mode in evidence wherein I can play as my own Spartan, the appeal really just isn’t there for me. I do hope Campaign allows you to consistently earn progression points for customizing your MP Spartan, so players like me can at least have some fun and feel a sense of progression for their own “Spartan Journey” even if they dislike or generally avoid PvP play. MCC has reached a point where it feels like playing the PvE side of things is a viable option to earn and enjoy the customization and progression elements that have been introduced into that game, which I think is awesome.

Yes but I feel like campaign player need to be awarded somehow not just PVP players oh and Doom Eternal is centered around Doom guy and they allow customization in that because looks cool not because it makes sense I love blowing my away with a gold shotgun

I kind of agree with you to a point but I think being able to customize Master Chief to a point it’s perfectly understandable especially when it comes to weapons skins and vehicle skins if you want to know what type of things I would allow people to customize on Master Chief just ask

By the way if notifications aren’t working then how do people know when I post something because I am getting responses to my post

They are going to reward people for playing the campaign (probably not points, but special armor or something like with mcc and 5).
