To address the feedback on Battle Pass progression we will be making targeted tunings to our model later this week.
To start, we’ll be adding “Play 1 Game” challenges to help make sure you consistently progress through the Battle Pass by playing matches the way you want.
We’ll also be adjusting, fixing bugs with, and removing some Weekly Challenges based on your feedback. These tunings to challenge difficulty will help you progress through Weekly Challenges faster and thus directly speed up your progress through the Battle Pass.
When we make this update, we’ll need to reset your Challenges, including your progress towards Weekly ones. To make up for this reset, we’ll be granting this week’s Ultimate Reward, the Sigil Mark VII Visor, to everyone who logs in from Nov 23 - Nov 30.
Additionally, we will be doubling the duration of 2XP Boosts to now last 1 hour as opposed to 30 mins. We hope this helps people get the most out of them, especially during those longer BTB sessions.
We’ll be watching these changes closely to make sure they have the positive impact we all want on your progression. This is only our first step - we are committed to continue evolving these systems but it will take time. Thanks for joining our beta, and keep the feedback coming!

I honestly am a little surprised at just how quickly this change is being implemented. Hoping it makes things better, my current weeklies are not great.

Same here and yeah some of the weeklies I can see being a pain but also next week loving in will get the sigsl visor for free as well this change will reset the weekly progress for the main challenge so 343 just said “yeah this change will reset the weeklies but hey here’s that visor you were chasing for
In my experience with bungie abd destiny I was expecting something like that but this a much nice change of pace
What about all the overpriced shop bundles? Will they be incorporated into the battle pass at some point or remain paywalled?
Impressive. I didn’t expect any updates until the 8th at the earliest. Good to know they’re on their game this time around.
To be fair, there was enormous backlash here, so they could just be scrambling.
I have no word on that but I can guarantee with how vocal that is it’s gonna be talked at 343 so best option is wait and see
That or they saw this coming and had a plan just in case or it was planed before this as even 343 saw this as a problem either way it’s coming
I was honestly scared I wouldn’t get the visor because of not being able to complete some of the challenges lol. I’m glad they’re pretty much saying this one’s of the house because we messed up.

This. The battlepass issues had been pointed out since the flights. This wasn’t news to 343 and they had already stated to be working on a fix.
That’s good, but remember people if it still doesn’t feel right, you still need to say so. Don’t let them pull a Rockstar, like with what happened with Red Dead Online’s gold bars.

It’s good how quickly this will be implemented but not all will be happy and still more will complain.
This is a good start to help fixing the Battle Pass progression.
I figure with how vocal the community is with things we have issues with, we shouldn’t have many problems with things getting fixed because 343i doesn’t know, it’ll be cause they don’t want to fix it.
I think that was for the additional progression system. This sounds like they’re scrambling for a bandaid fix due to the backlash.
It’s a good PR move, although whether they intentionally set themselves up for it or they’re genuinely scrambling to correct it I can’t say for certain.
Given how vocal the forum is right now on many subjects it’s not gonna happen
Side not I hate that rockstar is cracking down on modders
So many companies have done it intentionally after all.
Never hurts to have the fans on your side. That makes two excellent PR moves in one week. We’ll see if they can sustain it, time is the real test
This is cool but still no rewards for kill/assist/medals/objectives or wins.
Still no spartan rank, kinda wack but glad they did something.
I hope by January they can create and fix these issues.
Colors and the shop prices are problem as well.
