Battle Pass Progression Feedback

Challenges aren’t the right way to prolong Battle Pass, it just makes me not want to buy another Battle Pass for at all.

It just makes winning and losing pointless, as long as you do the challenges, it’s good.

A better way to level up Battle Pass might be this formula

In-Game Score - XX% = Battle Pass EXP
Winning Team = 50 EXP
Challenges = Extra EXP

This way, there’s a reason to do stuff in game, a reason to win matches (Instead of just satisfaction of winning) and reason to do challenges

With just challenges, it makes Double XP tokens very pointless as well. They honestly feel like waste of tokens

After playing 6 hours worth in the Beta and only getting to Level 3 Battle Pass, I rather just buy skins I like on the store instead of buying Battle Pass

The most upvoted thread on Halo reddit right now is about the lack of match xp. All of my friends yesterday played the game. Loved the gameplay, but it was very, very noticeable how slow it is to progress through the Battlepass. The lack of xp per match was discouraging, especially if they went something like 20-5, and got nothing because they didn’t do a challenge. That’s not right. I predicted this would be the sentiment when Infinite launched, and it’s happening. My fear is that a lot of people will fall off since they feel they are being squeezed to buy their way up or get challenge swaps and pray they don’t get a stupid challenge.

Exactly!

Me and my brother were talking about it and were basically talking about it affects objective game modes as well

On top of that, it really affects people who are working long hours and just want to come back home and play some matches and level up their battle pass before heading off to bed

I’m happy they did the beta and we are able to give these feedbacks now instead of actual launch and waiting for a change in the progression system

Completely agree with this thread. The current XP drip is pretty lackluster and the same can be said about the free rewards. I know they’re not supposed to be amazing since they’re free, but they should be a little bit more compelling.
