Battle pass doesn’t expire?

I have a buddy I play with once a week for 2-3 hours. I asked him what level he was at on the battle pass and he said “What’s that?”

Turns out he was level 58. I’d say the non-expiring was made for players like him, but he obviously doesn’t give two craps about it.

Exactly. I play halo almost every day and do indeed give a crap lol

There’s plenty of people who bought the battle pass and didn’t play enough to cap it out.

Yeah, for those who play the game every week its easy, but for those who play more sporadically its nice if they ever plan to comeback. Makes sure their 10 bucks wasn’t wasted.

There definitely needs to be something else, yeah. Like cumulative progression like the previous games had. And I want to be able to see my own stats, why can’t we see that? Some of these decisions are mind boggling

True! Being able to see your stats has always been an awesome feature.

I think having the BP’s not expire was a good move, but the logic behind it (ostensibly, to reduce FOMO and alleviate pressure to grind) is only half fulfilled, given the regularity of timed limited events and especially the seasonal Fractures content being locked behind what feel like are being presented as “now or never” events like Tenrai.

I’m sure that Tenrai will return eventually, to be honest, but it certainly feels like it’s being used as a FOMO cudgel as it exists today.

You can at Halotracker. Though I think it gets capped at a certain amount of matches. 343 already confirmed they are working on one for Infinite, though whats sad is I think the stats before they add a tracker in game will be gone. Hope that’s not the case though.
