But it did change, so not sure what your point is. Or are you just complaining about the way things use to be?
Hereās the thing though. Other f2p games reward free players with credits. Halo Infinite doesnāt do that.
I clearly said āNext Weekā as in 2 weeks, and I can knock it out in about 6 weeks. Obviously Iām not at level 50 in the first week. Thatās not even relatively close math.
Iāll be halfway through it by next week. I can probably knock this BP out in 6 weeks or less
I used 2XP on every single challenge, so Iāll be around level 40 after finishing next weekās challenges. If youāre around level 10, logically 2XP would put me at roughly level 20. I donāt plan on finishing every single weekly, so it should take 5 or 6 weeks with 2XP. I still have a ton leftover from Pringles and buying a case of Rockstars on Amazon. You got 48 skips and 2XP for the promo.
As for why am I playing it if I donāt enjoy it? Buddy, if you can genuinely say you have over 1000 matches and arenāt sick of the game yet, or you think you wonāt get tired of the game over the next 6 months of the same old same old, then props to your unbreakable attention span. Iām not trying to slowly grind for 6 months. LSS is cool but Iām not gonna play it for 6 months on the same map.
Iām not playing the same few maps I hated for a whole year just because they added 2 more. I will play once or twice a month for events, and thatās it. I donāt plan on playing every week, only event weeks. If next week isnāt an event week, or the weekly reward isnāt worth the grind, I wonāt play at all.
Either way, it will only take 5 or 6 weeks whenever those weeks are that I do play, and Iāll be level 40+ by the next weekly with 2XP. I only play about 6 hours to finish a weekly. Thatāll be less than 40 hours total played over the next 6 months, but Iāll have the BP finished and the event stuff. I just wonāt play otherwise. Iām not grinding at all, Iām doing the opposite. Playing as little as possible.
Not complaining at all, I was responding to the comment of saying people donāt realize how easy halo battlepass is in comparison to other games.
As commented before halo BP wasnāt industry standard and neither was the grind. It was difficult in comparison to other games. So yes, while it did change, it was because the player base complained about it not because 343 analyzed what impact that kind of grind would have on the player experience.
The point that Iām making is no credit should be given to 343 for their decisions on their battlepass or the changes theyve made as all corrections have been guided by the community and if they had followed the standard in the industry, alot of those changes wouldnt have been necessary in the first place.
