This has been a standard practice in almost every game that has a Battle Pass, what 343 did in season 1 was out of the norm. Normally there is enough credits to buy the BP again and F2P players usually get enough free credits to buy a small skin or something. We shouldn’t be commending them for doing the industry standard.

Cool yes, but should of been in the game from the start.
Some store prices are still questionable, especially with core limitations.
But yeah the BP is better, shame im still missing a bunch of stuff for my reach collection,

Industry standard is to time-bound battle passes and make them an insane grind so many players won’t see a return on their investment.

Thats true too, i dont think people realize how easy the BP is to progress in halo vs other games.

To be fair, we had to fight them for increased per match BP gains outside of challenges. Now your first few matches are worth more than they were early on. It definitely helped make it easier, and six months is a huge amount of time.

As long as all future seasons do this as well, this means that it’s just gonna cost you $10 to get every premium pass and after the last season you can use those 1000 credits to buy something from the store, or even the season 1 pass if you previously skipped it like myself.
It’s good but they should give you more than you put in. Warzone if I’m correct in thinking gives all players (free players as well) about 300 points and then you get an extra 1000 if you pay for the battle pass. So if you buy it, you get a total of 1300.
That at least gives you enough to save up and get a single item from the store like the armour effects every two seasons.
Warzone also kills the pass you bought once the season is over so I guess this is a good compromise, not even going to complain about it since the s2 pass is a huge improvement compared to the s1 pass.
Infinite does remove the pass too apparently, unless you’ve bought it. Which is way better as with Warzone once it ends it’s gone, even if you paid for it which is honestly disgusting… but it’s Activision.
1000 car from the Infinite battle pass is a step in the right direction at least.

I would even add the fact that you can go back and complete ones you already purchased a huge win as well.
We have 6 months to finish it, and I’ll be halfway through it by next week. I can probably knock this BP out in 6 weeks or less like the first one, then not play again until Season 3, besides maybe once a month for the event. Hop on once a week, pop 2XP, knock out the weekly in 6 hours, hop off. The sooner it’s done, the sooner I can stop playing.

Umm, not to sound snobby, but remember during the first week of launch everyone were complaining about the XP per match?
It was 50xp per match.
Now we get consecutive dropping of XP starting at 300.
Yeah, nope. If that didn’t change, the grind in halo wouldn’t be easy.

This is better for players like me who don’t have so much time to sink into the game. Playing a few matches a day is healthier.

Sure, there are loads of improvements that could be implemented. But for me, I can overlook this since I haven’t (directly) paid for anything in the game nor am I likely to buy anything from the store.
So it’d be a bit much for me to complain about anything 
Err, really sounds like you don’t care for the game. Why are you playing it if you aren’t enjoying your time in it?
Yeah, level 50 in just 1 week? That’s a lot of playing. Especially in a game that he pretty clearly doesn’t enjoy.
