PLEASE CONSIDER THESE STEPS TO IMPROVING THE BATTLE PASS SYSTEM:

Step 1. Players Earn XP via Performance (Medals, Objectives, Wins Etc)

Step 2. Challenges are bonus XP that allows players to pursue them if they desire (NOT required) but can allow quicker BP Progression

Step 3. Remove ALL Challenge Swaps from Battle Pass and replace with Actual Cosmetic Content that players can unlock

Step 4. Every 10 Levels players who purchased the BP are awarded with 100 Spartan Points enabling us to earn the next season after reaching level 100. (Or we can buy cool cosmetic items if desired)

Step 5. The Shop is for Super Rare Cosmetics that players would be happy to purchase (Not general colours or armours that shouldn’t be locked behind a paywall.

Agree with all of this, great suggestions.

All we can do is provide feedback, time will tell if it falls on deaf ears.

This is literally what we want.

These suggestions can create a great system.

My intention of buying anything from the store is absolutely zero, I don’t feel respected as player, just preyed on as a consumer, I don’t feel like I want to spend any money in their store because I know it isn’t for my enjoyment, it’s just to jump over a hurdle or to skip time grinding.

NOW, on the other hand, If I were respected as a player, and not preyed on, and the store had items that I don’t feel like I NEED to actually progress, I’d be more inclined to make a purchase or two every now and then, because “that colour looks sick” and “It’s even cross-core so It isn’t restricting my customisation”

I’d WANT to spend money on this -Yoink!- if I feel like my time and effort is respected and that the items I’m buying are worth it for my enjoyment, buying a colour coating only to find it’s restrictive to an armour core I’m not using, or to specific attachments I don’t like, then It’s not worth my money, and definitely not my enjoyment.

343 needs to respect its players and to stop trying to back them into a corner where they feel like they NEED to spend money to make progress, people feel better and spend better when they’re treated well, right now it’s like we’re the gum on the bottom of a Spartans boot.

I hear ya, 343 have implemented a system that forces people to play Halo in a way they don’t want to in order to level up through challenges… and at the same time require us to pay for the pleasure of customizing our spartan (which we could do for free in multitudes of ways in prior titles)… how 343 considered this a good idea is beyond me… it’s clear the community won’t put up with it. If nothing changes they will loose a huge player base pretty quickly.
