I love the war zone map “Battle of Noctus”. It is my favorite map of halo 5! I love the look of it, how it’s in a sleek futuristic city and yet has very green plants that make it feel happier. I love the circle sniping tower surrounding the monument and how it connects to it with bridges to provide plenty of routes to capture it. I love how bosses spawn close to the armories and not some far of irrelevant beach or cave (apex cough cough). I was wondering what maps some other people like, so please leave a reply!
Battle of noctus is the only Warzone map that I like lol
Battle of noctus is my favourite warzone map! It’s so well designed but does feel like it comes up less than the others.
Arena maps I love are overgrowth and torque!
apex is my fave. it is the most balanced. (and its concept is in halo 4 somwhere near the start of the campaign or somewhere in spartan ops… not sure which one)
I actually think that map is the worst warzone map but I am glad somebody likes it. In saying that I don’t like any of them, but this new one looks a lot better.

What? Apex is the least balanced,
1 it favors red team because they have 2 rocks they can climb and 2 man cannons taking them closer to it.
2 there sniper pit is slightly closer to the spire.
3 the spire is a super it high ground location so a team will almost never lose it.
4 the area between blue teams armory and the spore is super open with almost no cover while the space between red teams armory and the spire is super crowded.
I thought Noctus was pretty well designed, if for no other reason due to how it cleverly separated infantry combat from vehicle combat.
Of course, that never stops a smart vehicle driver, but still.

All legitimate complaints, but I would have to disagree and say that ARC is the most broken map of all, there’s only really one route to the center of the map and that’s through, or around the armory, if your team fails to capture your armory or loses it at some point in the game, then the game is over. Your team has already lost because the enemy team now controls the chokepoint that is the only route for your team to access the rest of the map, at least all the other maps have a couple different options to move to other bases.

That, and it’s the easiest to triple-cap out of the three.
If the other side has a lot of vehicles and a mantis or two, then you’re screwed if the team the player is on only has control of a single armory. Especially if the Mantis decides to assault the upper floor of said armories.
I did not like noctus at first, but now I enjoy it. I like all the maps in WZ. They each have a different strategy to them, although I do agree it’s tough to come back from a triple cap on arc.
Battle of Noctus 8/10
Raid on Apex 9/10
Escape from Arc 6/10
March on Stormbreak 2/10

Now try the same analysis for the blue team advantages. I’ll take blue team over red on apex any day.
I agree with others that arc is the worst design and most easily broken. And I agree that noctus is best. It’s nice to have a jagged terrain map like apex, but it’s hard to argue that mirror maps with opposite-end spawns, like noctus, aren’t the best balanced.
I love to get a Sniper on it and just camp on one of the bridges. Until the Banshees start coming out.

Yes, I love overgrowth too! It’s probably my favorite arena map, but like you said with Noctus, I see it come up A LOT less than the others, in fact, I think the reason I like it is the fact that it has all the plants, and I did phenomenal the one or two times I’ve played on it… I dont play arena much.
I like Noctus, but I do wish there was just a tiny bit more cover between the garages and the monument. Maybe just a little more vegetation in the way between them. If you get a couple good snipers on the bridges at the monument you can lock that map down like crazy.
I like Battle Of Noctus and Escape From A.R.C, indifferent about Raid On Apex 7 and hate March On Stormbreak.
For Arena, Empire is the best map imo.
Noctus is good but i think it was better if it were set at night . in day time with sun it looks like … Miami ??

Yeah, me too. its great.
I like all of the Warzone maps. My favorite one to play is probably Apex, but I enjoy all of them. Super hyped for Darkstar!
Battle of Noctus is my favorite Warzone map. Really good vehicle gameplay (especially the aerial vehicles), and the Monument concentration on infantry play is a lot of fun.
