Ok I am in diamind. An even this high, people do not know how to counter basic unit rushes. I have lost at least 14 out of my last 20 losses because the game is over within 5 minutes of it starting because people refuse to heed advice an counter play simple things.
So I’ma help whoever will actually read. If you are not gonna rush race against the other team, these are a few things to help you survive to mid or late game.
Number 1… build at least 2 turrets. I can not stress to you enough how much these will help you. I see so many people neglect them an by 3 mins, 4 choppers an a few basic marines destroy their base.
Number 2, after you get at least 2 Turrets, upgrade your base 1 level (not tech 2, fortify lv1), an see what units the enemies are using, then upgrade the Turrets to counter at least 1 of the units you see.
There that’s it. These 2 to 3 things will help you to survive. If you still feel like it wont, just build.another turret. Trust me, you’ll be able to build at least 3 to 5 units an enough to upgrade all this by 3 to 4 mins, so long as you focus land gathering points, an maybe a generator or 2. Save yourself an others from a humiliating defeat…
