Why you cant unlock the base shotgun permanently for warzone,since the submachine gun is easier to use and has more range? I dont think the shotgun is a strong weapon to be a single use req card cause most warzone maps are big,and the shotgun use is somewhat tactical,unless you have active camo, and even then,you can easily be taken out by all these Br/magnuns/subs or whatever req weapon,but thats just my opinion. What you guys think?
Any weapon that can one shot (besides bayonet) should probably be considered a power weapon. And in every other Halo game or gametype, the Shotgun is a power weapon.

I see what you’re saying because the Shotgun is godawful in this game, but it’s still technically a power weapon. SMG is usually better except at point-blank range.

Not to mention, if it was a load out weapon it would be refilled by req stations. There would be shotgun campers at every armory, garage, and fortress.
