So i was looking at the Halo 4 Theme for the Xbox 360.
And i looked at THIS.

Good find, i don’t have that background yet. Can’t bring myself to change the sweet Mega Man 10 one i’ve had for 2+ years.
I am pretty sure the Covies will be able to be killed in other levels but i am more interested in fighting this new threat.

I think the threat is the Forerunners or maybe the Precursors that’s if they didn’t all die.

Most likely Forerunners or something else. Unless it’s a plot twist, i am pretty sure all of the Precursors are dead since the Didact killed the Timeless One in Primordium. Timeless One was the last of the Precursors.

Eh right. I have that book but still have not started it

Hope we meet Bornstellar (Didact) in the game that would be amazing.
It would be great if we had an aerial mission that looked like that. Perhaps we get to fly that Pelican. (it’s just visible behind the Banshees).
The Covenant are the reason Cortana wakes John up, a rebel team is attacking the Forward unto Dawn just before it enters Requiem.
You can also see in another concept art picture (not on the theme) a picture of John at the hangar of the Forward unto Dawn with some banshees outside.

It specifically said “once I am destroyed, another will be released.”
Seems to imply there are more, or something.

Thats ok. Maybe there is more maybe there is no more. Hopefully E3 2012 Will hold the answer

Outside? I thought I saw one inside…
Interesting, they seem look like the Halo 3 version but is also flatter and more streamlined like in Halo Reach if you get what I mean. The wings are more horizontal and the upper part of the main body is flatter just like in Reach. But then again it could be the angle I’m seeing them in distorts the image. Just like I thought the elites were out of proportion till they released the new image for the spec op elite.
This is expected. No ones knows how long the Covenant presence has been there, an they could have set up operations there and saw the Forward Unto Dawn and went to investigate due to their dislike for humanity.
Heh, now I wonder how high are we going to be able to go whenever do do board a banshee…probrobly till we hit the ceiling…
