LOL The thing is, I agree with one thing, yet disagree with another thing as well. The rest was just nonsense (No offense). What I agree with is how the Dmr destroys the banshee instead of taking the damage straight to the player. In Halo 3, the BR did that. It only damaged the health, not the vehicle. (Except if you shot the anti-grav pods.) What I disagreed with, however, was your belief that bomb, roll, bomb, roll was “tactics”. I’m sorry but that is not a fact, whether you like it or not. In fact, in Reach settings, tactics don’t even work as well as in the other Halo’s.
Here are my opinions and I really would like people’s opinions on my suggestions. Maybe if this gets the banshee balanced, people will actually LIKE the banshee:
Remove Bomb Lock-On - Since the banshee is in anniversary, it would make sense to remove bomb lock-on like Halo: CE.
Slightly Reduce Bomb Travel Time - Bomb is too quick and very noob-friendly.
Reduce Bomb Splash Damage - Make it just like Halo 3’s banshee bomb splash damage.
Resistance against Gauss, Scorpion and DMR - Make it a 3sk for the gauss against banshee, 15sk for the DMR to kill THE PLAYER ONLY, not the vehicle itself, and two shots for the scorpion like in Halo 3. (Maybe?)
I think that in the end my suggestions make the banshee almost exactly like the one in Halo 3. Opinions? Suggestions?
