I’m guessing that he recently changed to a different button layout, and what used to be the boost button is now the mount/dismount button.

Um, no. Halo 4/Reclaimer all the way. I was just pressing X expecting it to do something with the REQ menu for some reason…

It seemed to despawn pretty quickly, unless one of my teammates took it and immediately got rekt on the opposite side of the map.
Are you using the elite controller with the paddles? If yes, remove the paddle for button b.
X = respawn. Vehicle respawn is auto. Habitually push x = dismount and lolz.
