Now that Banshees spawn on Deadlock, it makes the map have more advantages with an air vehicle dominating the skies. However being able to use it more often, you realized its more revealed how weak the Banshee still is. You could argue that it not requires more skill, or that its just utterly inferior to its previous designs now.
But besides that, the biggest problem I have is still randomly beeping to explode when there’s no smoke, fire, wings being shot off and a few ARs shooting at it for 10 seconds before its ready to beep and boom. I’d like to not pick the latter and hopefully it just requires more skill to use, but if you aren’t going to buff health, at least have it portray more damage when being shot.
Getting to use the Banshee a lot on that one map since it naturally spawns on it now. I’ve been getting some nice plays with it. To the point I’ve been questioning if they stealth buffed it or something. I’ve been getting about 10 kills per life out of them with multiple assist, although playing defensively mostly. Never used to get more then 4 or 5 before.

I wish they would just go back to Halo 3’s vehicle health system and physics, vehicles in Halo 3 are superior in every way. The only improvement 343 has made to vehicle gameplay has been the ability to switch seats.
They were buffed doing seaspn 2 but since they werent a natural drop, they werent noticed. MK has much more maneuverable in a banshee this gane. Currently, i dont think the player knows banshees spawn there yet, as im usually the only one ever getting to it…
They are working on making it more obvious when its at low health and also for when you get shot at. Hope this helps!
