When someone can get 40+ kills just by launching bombs and spamming LB it just pisses me off. It takes no skill and when your on the receiving end and just ruins the fun of the game. I just lay my controller down when someone is abusing it.
Nobody ever on my team (except when I play in parties which in then the banshee is done for in seconds) DMRs or plasma pistols the damn thing or even try to get the laser. Rockets are useless on it. I’m even guilty of abusing the banshee because of how overpowered it is.
Here is my solution.
Bombs -7.5 sec timer. Reduce blast zone. also if banshee is near the blast it will emp it.
Flips- 2 flips will drain the boost meter. Can not flip until boost meter is refilled. Boost meter on 15 timer to “Fully recharge” Requires full meter to do 2 flips or 1\2 to do 1 flip. So that is 7.5 secs per flip.
End of suggestion and rant.
I think this may be my first post on this site. So I expect a lot of trolls coming my way since I just talked -Yoink- about their beloved banshee. Come at me bros.
The banshee doesn’t really seem THAT over powered. I mean yeah, its a vehicle and it should be powerful. However DMRS and Snipers wreck it, and plasma pistols stun it, so its not like nothing counters it.
Lol, the reason it roams free to spawnkill your team is people like you put down their controllers, rather than taking a couple deaths and shooting the damn thing.
What’s wrong with DMRing it to death? They’re not that powerful at all. The people who get spawn trapped by these things seriously need to learn how to play better. It was your fault that you let it get to you and didn’t use communication and teamwork to take it down. Don’t come on here and complain about it, get some friends together and actually talk to them.

I’d say it actually takes skill to pilot a banshee. I am not kidding, the few times I’ve used the banshee in multiplayer, I actually have even fewer kills with it than number of times I’ve used it IIRC.
