The video above will tell you to read the description so I’ll paste it here:
“In the video, you can clearly see me finish a FFA match.
However, game thinks I “quit” the match and dropped the banhammer on me. It wasn’t a connection drop after the match ended, you literally see me at the post carnage screen, properly finishing the match. This was the second time it occurred which is why the recording here shows a ban for almost nine minutes.
I support the banhammer for its severity, but it needs to work properly.”

Not sure but I am having the same issue. I am currently banned for 8 hours even though I haven’t quit a game since I got the game 4 days ago . This is the 4th time I’m banned even though I am not quitting matches . I am using a wired controller that will disconnect randomly and I believe the game is registering that my profile signs out prior to end of game, however , I am unsure at this time . If you happen to find a cause or find a way to appeal (although none seem to exist ) please share !

Yess, hopefully we’ll get to the bottom of this!
Bans can be delayed by a game or two, so it probably relates to a previous match.
