Bans for excessively bad K/D?

It’s time to start banning people who consistently go negative double digits OR better yet put them in a lobby with people of the similar skillet.

Not looking for pro player, just people who don’t score on their own net, which in reality would get them benched.

Further rationale:

  • They are likely bots or trolls
  • They don’t know how to play, banning from matchmaking will encourage them to practice in Firefight or campaign. Their actions should have consequences as much as betraying someone.

Alternatively, give them a higher spawn time penalty as their K/D worsens.

Just want to reiterate that if someone has a one off bad game, no big deal, all good it happens, but a series of games in the double-digits? C’mon get real, get benched!

This would help balance overall team K/D as well.

Yeah, I agree that If someone goes double digits into the negatives in matchmaking they’re definitely a just a troll and if it’s possible I’d be fine to see that a bannable offense.

ill meet ya half way, betrayals and suicides but i have seen games with double digit negative k/d because the other team has double digit positive k/d and i go, whoever that guy is, he is having a bad day lol… to instantly go troll… i think you underestimate incompetence… heard this on Joe Rogan and rings true as far as i can tell… never chop up to malevolence what can be explained by incompetence (ex cia officer)… frankly its more believable that there are people who suck at halo

This game has very low population. Meaning its much more likely for players on opposite ends of the skill curve to end up in the same game.

I dont know how 343 can solve this, unfortunately. I would agree newer / underperforming players should be grouped against each other, but when the playerbase is so low the matchmaking engine is forced to fill the gaps (or not provide any games at all).

The team balance in mcc is non existent, and the sbmm is far too tight in socials to offer any kind of enjoyable expereience.

I doubt they’ll do anything about it.

You are contradicting yourself here…
