Halo 5’s ban system is in need of some form of reset system. How can it be ok to play 50 games without quitting and the quit once and get a 45 minutes ban and then play another 30 games straight, quit once, and get a hour long ban? I’m sorry that I get mad when I get respawned in a 4 shot because your maps are smaller than a section 8 apartment. Shouldn’t there be some form of reset on this? Am I the only one?

Also, your service record shows you’ve quit 10 matches in the passed week. Perhaps that’s why you were banned.

And if you check, at least half of those are disconnects from infection. For some reason that playlist likes to disconnect the entire game a lot.
I agree, they also need to make it so you CAN’T get banned for lagging out (I got a 3 day ban from winning a game, and at the last second I got banned)

I think getting banned from lagging out is ridiculous. Literally have had 5 games of infection disconnect in a day long span. Then a swat game not long after that. And it wasn’t just me, the entire game just disconnected and ended for everyone in it, I know because I had other friends playing with me. I’m waiting to have another random disconnect because of 343’s servers and get that 2 hour long ban for something I have no control over.

I’m with you on this. I’m always willing to give my all in a match that we’re losing. But if it’s nothing but a complete slaughter then count me out. I’m always hoping that in the future 343 will encourage playing instead of discouraging quitting. Also I too get spawn killed all the time in Arena.
I really don’t see why they don’t reset your ban streak every… Month? Maybe 2 months? That way they can keep forcing us to stay in sucky games, while also implementing just a teeny tiny bit of mercy and understanding. Because they will NEVER be able to stop quitting altogether.

Surely getting XP and RP at the end of the game is the encouragement to stay? I’ve been on the receiving end of some soul destroying annihilations in Warzone but stuck it out to the end. Next game comes along soon enough.

They did try with the rewarding of RP and XP regardless. Sometimes that small amount doesn’t seem worth having my eyes burst from frustration though. Again I don’t mind losing a game. But if I’m getting 20 deaths with only 2 kills then I’m out.
How about you just not quit.

There’s a big difference between losing a game and getting absolutely slaughtered because the game matched onyx’s with golds, or better yet, a team of 4 vs a bunch of randoms. I’ll never understand the matchmaking system, I have some pretty funny pictures of some of the matches I’ve gotten since launch… How’s 3 champions and a onyx playing together versus a bunch of random unranked people sound? Complete annihilation… Then they wonder why people quit games.
Man this is still up? They must be asleep.
Every one claims disconnects but they know they are really quitting. But if you are “disconnecting” always hard reset your Xbox before playing H5 and make sure you are using a wired connection.
