is there any possible way to get someone banned, or at least request it? because in recent games, a friend of mine and i have run into some of the worst team killers and/or boosters of any game, and would really rather like it if there was a way to teach them a lesson about it because it truly ruins this otherwise fun game.

The only way you can request someone be banned is to file a complaint against their gamertag. There is no way in game to report a player.
