Banning System...is becoming unfair

Today I have been banned twice. The first time was due to having network issues and the second was due to team killers. This is -Yoink!- me off that I’m being banned for A.) my network having issues and B.) people who don’t understand how to play HALO. Is anyone else having this problem because this is -Yoink!- me off. 343 should fix this problem, but they probably won’t due to they don’t want to split resources.

You got banned for your network issues, that isn’t a 343i problem.

I don’t see why YOU got banned for team killers, unless you quit out of a game which is once again, your problem.

I’ve left one due to team killers but all the other times it was my network having issues. Which is totally out of my control.

I assume it is an issue with your ISP?

Don’t play online until it is resolved.

Yes, I’ve had these issues, and a moderator happened to delete my post as well, which infuriates me. 343, if the Banhammer is this serious in H4, then by all means, let BLOPS2 kick Halo 4’s -Yoink- yet again. It’s utterly outrageous, this is coming from Chopstick, our little ban-hungry buddy. When I get banned, I do it for my own purposes; I know when things are too serious, and this is. Bury the Banhammer, and bring on the Credit collector.

If you mean this post, think twice.

Quit ban system is BS and ALL OF US know that but that’s not 343i’s problem, Give the Halo Reach forums on bnet a spin if they’re still kicking on that end.

It sounds completely fair to me, you quit, you get banned, you lag out, you get banned, you get kicked, you get banned.

Nothing wrong with that.

How is it fair??? He paid for the game, if he wants to quit then let him. Game is a fukin joke

> He paid for the game, if he wants to quit then let him.

Speaks the truth this one does.

Just because he bought the game doesn’t give him the right to ruin others’ fun by quitting out of games.

Agreed…

If thats the logic we are using, then he shouldn’t quit because of team killers. Because they paid for the game they should be able to team kill. It’s a big circle of -Yoink-. Everyone online playing the game paid for the service. Why should I lose a team member because we aren’t all working together? Why should I lose 2 team members because eventually the team killer gets booted. And the guy getting killed rage quits?

Everyone online paid for the same services. Quitting out of a game because of losing a battle is weak. And cowardly. On top of the fact that some people may be late starters. Personally I need to be in a match for about a minute or 2 to grasp the other teams play style. Then I start racking up kills, I’ve been in games where 3 mins in I had 2 kills, and ended the game 3 minutes later with 15. It makes it that much harder when someone quits.

So by your logic I can buy Monopoly and just grab all the cash I want and it won’t cause any problems?

No, he didn’t buy the game. He bought the game that had online rules. If you don’t agree with those rules then don’t play the game. I don’t care what you or anyone else thinks. Just because you hand over some cash doesn’t mean you can do whatever the hell you want.

Grow up or stop playing. Nobody here is going to care.

It spread to Waypoint -Yoink!-

Screw the other people. If they PAID for the game, they could have a say. Who signs on and plays for the enjoyment of others and not for themselves? If it’s not fun, your team sucks, you have lag, a jerky betrayer, or anything else that’s ruining your enjoyment, quit.

So his personal enjoyment is more important than that of the other 3-15 people who also paid for the game? No.

If you ask me, the quit ban isn’t anywhere near harsh enough.

Yes, kill off the population further.

Haha no, what we need is less stick and more carrot for those to finish their games regardless if they win or lose.

Good thing they’ve added the drop in functionality in Halo 4.
