Any way to properly report someone for deranking in Halo 5 Arena here on the forums?
Have the film bookmarked and could upload it to youtube unlisted if i have to. Not going to post their gamertag but this person went into team arena and walked around the map not shooting a single person. When they weren’t aimlessly walking around they continued to jump off the map off spawn including getting new power weapons and jumping off with them. And when they weren’t doing that they were either aiming at the ground and shooting it or aiming at the sky and shooting. Very frustrating when you’re trying to have a good late night session with some friends and some clown comes in just to cheat so the other team will win.
Edit: Also he/she has 1 kill this season in arena and 98 deaths yet got placed Plat 4. Would like to know how that works out lol.
The second they start banning booster accounts legit bad players will get banned… How I’ll they find out of its just a bad player or a player pretending to suck.
I saw a guy win 2 out of his 10 placement matches and he got diamond 6 yet i place plat every season.
Theres a ton of boosters in Halo there always has been.

It’s one thing to be bad at the game but when you take power weapons and jump off with them, or look at an enemy and turn the other way or jump around the map like you’re trying to learn new jumps the whole “bad player” thing kinda goes right out the window and it makes it obvious they’re deranking.
I got paired against 2 bronze 1’s playing in a party with 2 high level champions not too long ago. Could someone explain to me why someone would do this? They absolutely destroyed us, a group of 4 platinum players. Is this boosting?

When you are in a fireteam the player who is the leader (searching for games) will determine what level players they will face. Most likely one of the bronze players was the party leader and invited two friends in champ to help them wreck people at that level.

Nothing they can do against it. I can understand banning people after seeing the film of them betraying/committing suicide purposely the whole game, but that would take too much time. There will always be boosting, who would say that the person on the low account isn’t just bad? Why would they force them to stop playing the game.

Or the bronze players were champs and got on 2nd accounts to bring ranks down

It is boosting and it happens a ton. since on the xbox one you can share gold between accounts there are people with several tags to help their buddies rank up to a rank they dont belong in.

That is not how it works. 343 needs to make it so fireteams get matched based on the highest rank in the fireteam. It would help a lot with these boosters.
