Banned?

I just came back from the restroom and I saw a message on my screen that said “You have been banned from Halo 5: Guardians, duration of ban will expire 8:02”

I’m not sure exactly what happened.

You have’t quit any matches? Or cleared out your own team?

My guess is that while you were in the bathroom you were idle in a match so they gave you a temporary ban. 343 is cracking down on those who are idle or quit out of matches as this puts an unfair burden on the team members.

Looks like your last match was a DNF (Did Not Finish), so perhaps you left your game queued up for another match, and because you were out of the room and just standing there, were detected as idle, and removed from the game, then given a temp ban, for half an hour.

Thank the Gods too, My last ten matches have been decided because of people leaving in the first minute of the match. Very frustrating to have your rating be determined because of people leaving games.

Yes I don’t play the ranked arena matches unless I am going in with my clan members, so my rating will not be left to chance.
