Banned?

Whenever i try to enter any matchmaking it tells me at least one person in my fireteam isn’t allowed to play matchmaking. I’m assuming that means banned? I play the game casually, never being vulgar or quitting matches unless I absolutely have to, which I’ve had to maybe 3 times since the game came out? I’d appreciate it if you didn’t wrongfully ban people. Please give me the ability to play back. That or give me my $60 back. You need to set up a way to tell people how they got banned. If there is one, let me know so I can see what I’ve done wrong. I’m mildly angry at this, especially since I don’t have much time to play due to work. And the little bit I do have, I can’t.

Out of the 27 games you have played, you have several DNF’s between Arena and Warzone. Those are usually when you quit a game early or got booted for being AFK. Or possibly connection issues. That would be my guess to why you are banned. If even warns you in advance that if you quit there will be a penalty. Also do not go afk too much and dont betray team mates. The bann should be temporary for now.

Where can I go to view things like that? And i never recieved any type of warning as me getting banned. I haven’t played for about a week now and I get on and find out I’m banned. Edit : I have gotten disconnected several times, at no fault of my own.

Your service record says you quite twice on 11/14.

Some background reading:

> Attention. At least one player in your fireteam is banned from playing Halo 5: Guardians.
>
> This error occurs if one or more players in your fireteam (including yourself) is currently banned from playing Halo 5: Guardians. Players can receive bans automatically by leaving games in-progress, killing allied players, and more. Players with bans should wait and retry at a later time when their ban has been cleared.
>
> If you have been banned by 343 Industries, you’ll see a message when you launch Halo 5: Guardians indicating that there is an enforcement in place. You can also check if there are any Xbox enforcements against your account by signing in at the Xbox Policy & Enforcement site.

> The Banhammer Strikes!
>
> It’s important to us that everyone enjoys their experiences in Arena play. To maintain the quality of the Arena experience and sanctity of competition, a number of rules are in place for all Arena playlists. Halo 5: Guardians is engineered to detect and track the following behavior:
>
> • Quitting matches
> • Betrayals or team killing
> • Idling (AFK)
> • Intentional suicides
> • Excessive disconnects
>
> If you repeatedly engage in negative behaviors such as the ones listed above, you will receive a ban and be prevented from entering matchmaking. The duration of each ban is dependent on the offense and becomes more severe with each successive infraction, so continually killing your teammates to steal the Sniper Rifle will quickly lead to long timeouts from matchmade play.

If my disconections are the reason for my ban, they need to figure out a way to distiguish between quitting and getting disconnected. I understand that disconections still impact your teammates, but it happens to alot of people and it isn’t their fault. I do appreciate your answers though, thank you all.

Quitting 2 matches on 11/14 isn’t enough for him to still be banned on 12/03 though… Something is up.
