I got banned for 8 minutes? I had no mic in and kinect mic turned off. So I know it wasn’t due to language or the like. I did no tea bagging and no suicides. no quitting. Why can’t they inform us of our “wrong doing” so as to try and correct what we didn’t do wrong.

I just had the same problem. One game I accidentally killed a teammate. Only ONE game I’ve done that in and I get banned. It’s stupid. I heard it was “stricter than ever.” Halo is my favorite but if it’s going to be this retarded then I’m going to do something different.
Something to keep in mind is that after the match ends (where the announcer chimes in with the winner/loser) and the screen sort of fades to black, any activity during that counts. Meaning if you kill yourself or team kill it is all contributing to your suicide/betrayal ban totals. Bravo mentioned they were going to look into fixing that, but that’s currently the way it is. So if you went nuts (such is tradition) that could be a reason for your ban.
That could be it. I did jump off the stage a couple times after we lost but while I still had control of my guy. I didn’t have any connection problems.
That happened to me yesterday! First ban! And it was because I accidentally killed my teammates on breakout twice with grenades. I was booted but like 2 matches later, I was banned. This system is so buggy.
