I played one game of swat with a friend. We were in a small hallway and I threw a plasma At an enemy only to have a teammate jump in front of me and have it stick to him. This caused me to betray 2 teammates and I was instantly kicked from they game. I thought nothing of it until after my next game a notification pops up saying I have been banned. How is that even fair. It was a simple mistake and now I can’t play. This is absolutely ridiculous and must be fixed and quickly!

So like…How did you throw a plasma in SWAT?
I’m pretty sure you’ve played more than one game.
The it’s impossible for them to implement a system that’s fair to all. On the one hand, you can’t be responsible for moronic team mates, on the other hand the system can’t tell the difference between someone who trolls 2 team mates and someone who accidentally kills 2 teammates with a grenade.
Until such a system is possible, were stuck with the one we have.
I saw a guy tk with a railgun by accident because he teammate was strafing in front of him. Then I got tk by a splinter grenade by someone who could see that I was within melee range of the enemy, though the person did immediately jump off the map afterwards, I’d like to think of it as a sorry rather than a moronic attempt at evasion.

You don’t get banned for two betrayals (!). If you’re rage quitting multiple times in a row then shame on you, but don’t come here to complain about the system while lying about how you got banned.

If you actually check his game history, there’s only 1 DNF.

I agree. I’m infinitely curious on this.
Story doesn’t seem to add up. Sorry.
I’ve never played SWAT, are there no plasma nades on the ground? Curious.
The ban hammer has struck you my son;)
The excuses some people come up with will never cease to amuse me.
I can’t remember having ever seen plasmas in SWAT but I don’t frequent that play list often so I could be mistaken.

There are no Plasmas in SWAT, don’t worry.
Notice OP gets called out and shuts his mouth XD
Although I do agree on the point that the ban system is somewhat strange.

First, as everyone has stated; there are no plasma grenades in SWAT. Secondly, situational awareness aside, you shouldn’t be throwing grenades into any team fight.
Though I do agree with the sentiment of the ban system being way too quick to pass judgment. There should be a warning first then if the offender repeats the action in the next 5-10 matches they get a 15 minute ban. Then each time the same act is a cause of a ban increase it by 10 minutes for each subsequent offense. When they make it up to 1 hour ban, start increasing the bans to +1 hour per ban, when they reach 6 hours. Bounce it up to 12 then one day. Honestly if you get banned that much you should be banned for days at a time.
I got a notification that I had been banned and I hadn’t done ANYTHING.
In my view, it was clearly a mistake but no one explains what allegedly happened.
To whom can one request proof of what is alleged?
