Can someone help me. my Son’s account Sauceman7 got banned until 2552 for creating a post on the “roll call” forums(called “bants” meaning banter), so he and some friends could talk while playing on xbox. However someone suspended him until 2552 for this post (i think). As you can tell, He will die before this suspension is lifted. So could anyone explain to me:
The cause of this (also please supply sufficient evidence of this)
Anyway to get it lifted
His previous account was hacked before and we would not want to have to make a 3rd account.
Hi there, your son’s account was banned because his posts broke the forum’s rules for spamming. you can see his post history here. Best thing to do is contact a monitor and talk it over, they’ll provide you with a bit more information. You can find an up to date list of all forum monitors here
Thank you for your help stckrboy. I have just viewed the forums rule for spamming, and he has broken 2 rules, however, he claims the reason he made the forum was so he and some friends could have fun while playing Xbox without using a headset.(he uses headphones so he can hear everything in more detail.Therefore cannot wear a headset) The forum was not specifically about halo, but that is the game he would be playing while chatting. Some would class it as Spam, but that is a very broad term. If he was given a warning that what he was doing was wrong, he may have stopped. Anyway thank you for your help and guidance. FYI i am not ranting at you or blaming anything on you I am just voicing my opinion to those who are listening.
I forgot to mention the rules that were broken are “Do not discuss topics that are not related to Halo or the topic of the forum.” and “Please do not spam. Spam includes but is not limited to commercial posts, single word responses, petitions, non-English posts, posts containing all-caps, necroposts and bumps (replies purposely made to move the thread to the top of the active thread list).” but thank you anyway.
