I just got banned from the multiplayer for a short time. This is most likely due to me leaving matches consistently. However, I feel I should stress that if you don’t want me to leave quick play matches, then stop giving me the same two matches over and over again. I got like 3 ctf matches in a row and 4 oddball matches in a row. It then kept continuously going back and forth between them. I just wanted to play strongholds and it wasn’t giving it to me. If there is a way to make it to where you can choose a preferred game mode in quick play pvp, please let me know. And if there isn’t, 343 should consider that, or make ctf and oddball less common.

You must have had an active challenge for stronghold matches. The game is obviously programmed to make it less likely to give you maps/game types that you need to complete any active challenges that you have.

The only way I know is to press select to show your fireteam in the pre-game lobby and as the game starts to load in it shows map and gametype…at that point you can quit Halo if it’s not the gametype you want as it doesn’t connect you to the game.
