People who are banned in Reach, are they going to be banned from CEA’s Multiplayer?
I was wondering, because I regret getting banned from Reach, and want to play multiplayer again…

I’m sorry to say this, but yeah if you were banned from Reach’s MP you’ll probably still be banned in the CEA MP, which is the same exact MP with a new map pack.
So your trying to tell me I am already banned from a game I haven’t played, but yet payed for it already?

> Has your gamertag been permenantly banned from Reach matchmaking?
Yes…
You should relegate this into the Why I Get Banned Thread?
Or message Total Sellout. That’s the quickest and best actual way to get an answer on the subject that I’ve noticed.

Yes and no. You’ll be able to utilize everything EXCEPT Matchmaking b/c essentially, you paid for the SP and the new maps on disc but the MP stays intact with Reach.

Thats obviously not fair, because it is techincallt different from Reach, because it will have its own playlist and what not…

sorry to say it but halo reach will have the same playlists as CEA but will need the map pack to play in

What he said. It’s exactly like how ODST was only it’s all on one disc this time. Even though the MP was on a separate disc in ODST, it still retained the same code and whatnot. Basically the same thing here.
As mentioned, appeal to the aforementioned Why I Get Banned Thread or msg Total Sellout.

It’s not different, it’s just a Classic Map Pack for Reach…

NO, what’s not fair is that you were doing something to earn you a ban in the first place and then used the new game release to get yourself unbanned…
THAT would not be ‘fair’.

Agreed. Whatever you did to get yourself banned was nobodys fault but your own. Unbanning you just because its a new game that uses a current titles multiplayer would be unfair to those who didnt break the rules.

Wow, you guys are such -Yoinks!-… Why should I be banned from another game, even though its practically the same? I got banned on REACH not CEA… So it shouldn’t mean I should be banned on there, even if its the same multiplayer… And how is it not fair if I am not banned from CEA? I shouldn’t be banned from a game I did nothing wrong on, Reach has its own multiplayer as will CEA, I was banned from Reach’s multiplayer not CEA, even though they are basically the same, but it will have different playlists and maps. But why be so negative about it? There are many people out there who are banned and do not think this is fair… Who those who think banned players shouldn’t be able to play, are just DR’ing 343…
What was the reason given for your ban? If no reason was given why do you think you were banned? Please don’t say you don’t know or didn’t do anything because they don’t hand out perma bans on a maybe.

I think you’re a little confused…the multiplayers aren’t just similar, they’re one and the same. Reach multiplayer = CEA multipllayer. As in somebody on the Reach disk can play somebody on the CEA disk.

For modding my service tag, I know “you modded you deserve to be banned.” But I know the have 0 tolerance for modding, so I understand why I got the perma-ban. And I regret it now, I miss playing Reach, and I don’t want to miss out on CEA…
