I was loading BTB, the game crashed and restarted the halo infinite tech/preview.
a I reloaded a new game and the game crashed again right before the start of the match. I then hard resetted my series X and upon loading the multiplayer lobby it says in the bottom left corner “user is banned” I tried one last time to hard reset my console and yet I am still banned. Extremely disappointed. Is there any work around or I am seriously banned for the rest of the weekend due to too many server side crashes.?
EDIT: It may be annoying, but you may have to hard reset your Xbox multiple times to fix this error.
It worked on my 5th try, then a few games later i was banned again.
I repeated the hard reset cycle a few more times and it worked again. I’ts just a bug on server side, hopefully it will be fixed in this next play time window.

I have the same issue, it crashed on me 3 times and now im banned. It’s disappointing because I was really looking forward to playing but I guess I can’t play now.
My friends and I had the same issue last night. However, all we had to do was exit the game and reload it a couple times and the ban was lifted. We never even made it to the start of the game, it was stuck on “searching” and would not let us cancel the search as a group or even when we tried searching individually.

It’s ridiculous, because it’s a test! Shouldn’t you be banned for a test, you should be testing it

Very true. It was extremely annoying but repetitve power cycles fixed it. I just lost a lot of game time due to the server side crash/bans
