Banned from suicides in a social map

I get the reasoning behind banning players for suicides but in this case I was playing Husky Raid trying to do one of the far jumps on one of the “S” shaped maps to sneak up on the enemy and kept missing the jump. After the third failure I get booted and can’t play Halo with my friends for 10 minutes.

First of all, suicides don’t have any bearing over Husky Raid so the fact that the rule is in play there is irrelevant, I’m in a party with friends, if they aren’t angry about the situation then why am I getting punished by the game? Since when did time punishments start applying to social maps, am I not going to be allowed to practice hard jumps in social matches anymore for fear of suicide counts? By enforcing this you are basically taking away our playground. Why even split social and ranked if you are going to do this in both? One is serious and one is causal.
