I was playing halo master chief collection with my brother last night online. We were not using profane language or misbehaving in any way, just enjoying the multiplayer experience. There were a few matches in which we had bad teammates, so we created a custom game and had a few 2v2s or 2v3s with folks we had played against. We won all of these custom games without hacking or tampering in any way. After an hour or so of playing, we found that we could not join a multiplayer game together and got an error message saying something along the lines of “cannot start match because a member of your party has been temporarily banned”. I would like to reiterate that we did nothing to get banned, we didn’t quit any matches early or anything. Also, we could both join multiplayer matches by ourselves, just not together. So bizarre and so ridiculous that we got banned literally just for playing the game. My only thought is that the kids we beat in 2v2s reported us because they were mad they lost and that got us banned?
