So i was playing halo infinite. And during a match i lost all sound within the match and i was unable to move my spartan with my controler on the xbox series x. I left a match and rewqent into Matchmaking and at the start of the new match i was still unable to hear all sound and move my spartan / charachter. In order to fix it i had to restart halo infinite on the xbox all together. Only to find that i had been unfairly banned from matchmaking due to a bug in the game. What gives with this? how is it fair to be banned from matchmaking for a bug when all i tried to do was problem solve it with every solution i could think of before having to leave a match and restart a match and furthermore before restarting the game all together. Not cool just not cool. to be banned for a bug…

These quit penalties for casual playlists have been ridiculous in both Infinite and MCC. Same thing happened to me the other day in MCC where the game screen went blank (Xbox dashboard still worked just fine), so I had to quit the game to get it to work and was slapped with a matchmaking cool down for it.
I can understand strict timers in ranked modes, but it’s silly in casual, especially in Infinite where a bot player immediately assumes the empty spot before it’s filled by another player.
