Banned from earning credits, how long?

Freaking out a little over here… please help a fellow gamer out!

Me and my friend played Halo Reach last night on my Xbox and all of a sudden we get a message saying that both of our accounts and my console are banned from earning credits. We didn’t do anything wrong, always play by the rules and don’t leave any games or anything like that. I read somewhere that if you don’t get any kills for a couple of games you might get banned because they think that you’re AFK (or AFC since it’s a console) and my friend is a beginner so she didn’t get any kills for a few games. But shouldn’t that just ban her account? Some friends of mine say that it might be that I hit some kind of maximum credit thing…? I’ve completed all of the daily challenges and the weekly one, and just played a lot of Reach lately because I have no life.

My question is; how long will it be like this? Someone said 24 h and someone else was banned for over three days or something like that.

You have hit the nail on the head and correctly assumed why you have a temporary credit ban. How long it last is usually 24-48 hours for first offence but if you kept playing more games with zero kills after the first temp ban warning that could of already extended to a week. Repeat offences could lead to perma bans.

Next time make sure you grab your friends controller and get at least one kill.

And please post in the locked thread " why did i get banned" for anymore posts as to why youre banned.

As Slayer stated, but your ban could go up to two weeks.
