*Refuses to play matches that are either useless to them or are just unfun.
*Noobs think he deserves the ban for “ruining the experience”.
*Those same people also complain about players who dont play the objective, refusing to pick up weapons.
Sorry, but these people sound so dumb defending a matchmaking system that punishes you for not playing certain matches. It wouldnt be a problem at all if we could just choose which mode to play. But no, instead of pushing for a mode filter, the noobs defend 343 for banning people over their flawed system. If players leaving “ruin the experience” then forcing those players to stay in a match they do not want to play ruins the experience for them. Oh i get it, its only bad to ruin the experience when it affects you. Ruining the experience of other players is 100% fine.
Nobody is at a disadvantage because of quitters, and players can complete challenges at their will. With a simple and easy game mode filter. Everyone wins.
Now stop attacking each other for trying to have fun in the game.
I just had to quit a match of sidekick-swat. Not because i didn’t got the BR-version i need, but because the camera was outside my spartan. It was aimed at my spartan in the beginning (like how you see your spartan right before the start). I could move my spartan, but then i couldn’t see it anymore, since it was away from the camera… I was like WTF?!
Not being able to play that match, i had to other choice than to quit. But i have to say it was funny to see.

Yes I was fully aware it would happen. I’m still not entirely sure of the point of your response? You think that I’m mad because I “can’t justify leaving games left and right to do challenges?” Lol I can absolutely justify that, it’s literally the only way to progress in this game.
I think my point was clear, the challenge system sucks. Quitting games is the only way to avoid playing matches that cannot earn you challenges, and therefore is a valid way to complete challenges.
You should just play Fiesta. It’s the easiest way to get weapon kills like that and even if you don’t spawn with a hammer, someone else will.
I don’t think people should get banned for quitting social matches though, that’s straight up stupid. Why does join in progress exist if you’ll get penalised for quitting anyway?
My suggestion to you is don’t quit so much, and select the playlist properly. It’s the only way you’ll ‘beat’ the system that is currently in place.
I say is because im part of that group that agrees the system is bad, that’s been playing since CE and isn’t a kid. But Id say I left at least 2-3 games since launch only to play with friends and I’m already maxed out the battle pass.
If you have not progressed to 100 yet then that’s on you. Leaving isn’t the only way to progress and grind. I have just about everything free just by playing for fun.
Using a flawed system to justify your own bad behavior is not really a good way of going about things. You can come on here to voice your concern, but when did two wrongs ever make it right?
Lol I mean, I certainly haven’t progressed to 100, because I haven’t chosen to dedicate the time to it. I’m not interested in the grind like that. I liked this event though, so I’ve been working my way through it.
I mean, how is leaving games to play with friends any better than leaving games to complete challenges?
When enough people choosing to quit games in order to accomplish challenges will get 343s attention, and help them prioritize the progression/challenge changes they have promised.

Everyone else will be fine, people hop in pretty quick, and it’s literally just social playlists in a video game. It’s more important that this issue be addressed in the long run by changing the challenge system.
If your only motivation in this game is to play how the challenges tell you to, you could at least select the playlist that is most likely to get you to complete the challenge.
Yes, the challenge system is not great, but its not excuse to constantly quit games. This crap should not be happening, challenges or not, players doing this should have longer bans or progression on their challenges should be reset whenever they quit.
Lol it seems fine to me. I’ve been in plenty of games where teammates left, it backfilled with bots, and I just got more kills.
It is 100% an excuse to quit games. Lol if progression was reset whenever players quit, then people who get bumped from games based on their internet connection would be pretty pissed.
Not all the modes backfill with players or bots. I played that entire game as a 4v1 and I don’t want to play with or against bots.
So no, its not fine. Stop using the challenge system as an excuse for you to quit games and making the experience worse for other players. People like you should be perma banned.
They are encouraged to use purchase challenge swaps that’s how they make their money and it’s a poor business practice it’s almost like the thing with Halo 5 store all over again
