Hey Guy’s I got a 10 min BAN for disconecting from the Halo 5 Servers… So is there any good reason for my ban?
Two DNF’s just in the last ten games. That’s a good place to start.
I Dot’t quit by my self. Everytime the Server are disconected. It’s not my fault.

With respect, the system neither knows that nor cares. It’s in place to ban those people who display behaviour for which a ban can be issued. You displayed that behaviour so the system banned you. For all I know you’re lying about server disconnects, and that’s the point; it’s better to ban everyone who displays that behaviour than allow someone who MAY be lying to continue breaking the rules.
that kind of sucks, but blame the people who constantly leave games lol.

I’ve got 5, 6, 7 DNF’s on my service record. I haven’t quite out of only one game so far. The rest I’ve been lagged out of. I don’t dare play matchmaking anymore in fear of getting banned for lagging out of matches. I did try to play last night, didn’t get lagged out. But couldn’t play due to serious lag. I don’t think I was able to even get a kill because of it. There’s a serious issue with H5 and people with Time Warner Cable that 343 is yet to respond to. I can’t play co-op campaign or matchmaking without it being a lag fest the whole game. There’s a ton of post in the H5 support secretion about it. Almost all have one thing in common, TWC as the ISP. Before anyone says anything about it, yes, my internet connection is fine. I have 50+ download, 6+ upload, and a 23 ping. Ports are forwarded and NAT is open. And when I test the connection through the XBOX ONE settings all the speeds check out like I’ve listed above with zero % packet loss. We’ve even got a response from TWC customer service stating the problem isn’t on their end but has something to do with the H5 servers. I have saw post where people have went and bought their own modems to try and resolve the issue but nothing seems to work.

Exactly. If you genuinely do keep getting disconnected and are suffering for it, I sympathise. Head Hunter410 has it right though; these measures wouldn’t be necessary were it not for selfish people quitting out because they don’t want to lose.
What? I dont have any reason to quit because i will rank up bro. so the servers are broken for me like 2 days like every 3 games the stats are not available. that sucks hard man and I’m not a liar.

I didn’t call you a liar, I said “for all I know”. The point being, we can’t tell if you’re lying about server disconnects and neither can the system. So it bans you, erring on the side of caution. When all is said and done, you asked a question in your opening post and I tried to answer it. Whether or not you accept that is up to you; it won’t affect my gaming. I genuinely hope things get sorted one way or another.

It’s not Time Warner’s modem. Reddit has already posted the issue and It is on TWC end. Of course they are not going to say it’s on their end, why lose customers over a game. What I did to fix that same problem is: (Even though all my ports are open) went to bridge mode (got my own wireless router since theirs will not work in bridge mode) and connected that way. Since then I had no issues. Well that’s not true. Since I did that if I join a party I can not hear anyone (even though I can still hear the game music and effects) and they can’t hear me. If I drop from firetream then I can hear and talk again.

The fact that every other XBL game works just fine for us on TWC points toward its 343’s problem. Here is the exact message from Time Warner Cable Customer Support about the issue. Note: this was posted on Tuesday.
Good afternoon,
The issue with Halo 5 was identified yesterday. As you may find with your connection, customers are reporting an issue with connecting to the Microsoft dedicated servers. This issue was determined to be a Microsoft issue, not a TWC issue. I know it may sound like a “it’s not us, it’s them” answer, but in this case it we are seeing the servers are having trouble keeping up with the demand, which is causing the lagging. Customers reporting this issue are only having an issue with Halo 5.
If you feel you are have an issue with your TWC services, please contact TWC directly. We can be reached a number of ways.

Honestly this can be solved with Boolean methodology if someone initiates the “quit” class and does it on free will then those should be the ones punished for disconnecting not the console losing connection to the game server. This is an engineering flaw that can fixed by implementing proper coding and simple if and else statements.
