Banned for self defense against a team killer

I would greatly appreciate it if the developers could fix the broken team killing kick system.

I was in a game tonight of MCC Invasion matchmaking. A player decided to repeatedly team kill me and it did not provide me any options to kick the offending player. So finally after being harassed and team killed by this moron 3 times, I defended myself by killing him, and then I was wrongfully kicked and it says I am temporarily banned from matchmaking.

This is unacceptable. I should not be banned just for defending myself against a damn repeated team killer that the game was not giving me any option to kick. He should be the one banned instead of me.

While I do agree that the system is indeed broken, I do have to say that you could of rightly ignored the player and tried to play the game as intended but instead you opted to stoop to his level.
