Banned for no reason

I haven’t played halo mcc since Thursday night and then I get on the game Sunday night to see I’m banned for 2 weeks. I read through the guidelines and it says potential bans are for quitting, idling, etc. I’ve been reading and it said the quitting bans are only 10 minutes to a couple hours so I assume this is a ban for idling. However, the only cases that I’ve idled are in cases when I have started a game and then I’m called to do chores. I’ve seen other players on grifball who are continually walking in circles and that is not my case at all. I’m trying to figure out if there’s anyway I can do to get this ban lifted because I feel like it is unfair and I do realize idling is against the guidelines but if when I was called to do chores and quit instead I would be getting a ban for that also. At the very least could I get a reduction of time to the ban? Is there anyway I could talk to someone of authority to figure this out? It also never gave me an official reason for the ban but I assume it is either idling or quitting.

Nobody gets banned for no reason, there is always a reason for the banhammer swinging on an account. Sometimes mistakes can be made though, so if you are confident that you have been banned in error please see my post here:

You’ve admitted to idling in matches though, so you must have done it enough to warrant a ban of this length. In future if you know you might need to leave an do chores, finish up 1 game earlier.
