It has nothing to do with the other games. The ban shouldn’t have triggered from lagging out of a lobby where I was waiting for a game to start. I’m simply stating something that needs to be fixed. I’m not saying that I lagged out of a game while in progress and got banned. I lagged out of a lobby and got banned, not a game.

lagging out of a lobby is not quitting. and a lobby and a game are not the same things, a lobby is where you go when you’re waiting for a game to start, a game is when you actually play. lagging out of a lobby should not ban me.

Yeah it should, because you’ve already used up your 9 lives when you quit. I’m glad you got banned, you’ve probably ruined dozens of peoples games. Not nice when the shoes on the other foot, is it?

Ban remedy:
- Wait for your ban to be over - play a game - don’t quit.

And my game’s been ruined like 700 times due to people leaving as soon as it starts. I wouldn’t quit if that wouldn’t happen like every single game. I wouldn’t quit if my team played the game right. I wouldn’t quit if the ranking worked. I would never quit. But, when I’m about to lose a game and I’m pissed off at my horrible team, I leave. It’s not my fault. I try to play the game how it’s supposed to be played, other players don’t allow that. Don’t get on me for quitting games when it’s not my fault. You don’t have to leave a game to be a quitter, in fact, half the kids that play this game don’t bother trying. When they’re feeding the other team and I’m the only one doing anything, I leave. I don’t want to play games like that.

The game is made by 343i, they make the rules to play by, if you want to play, then obey their rules simple. If you don’t want to play by their rules then don’t play Halo.
You strike me to be the type of pereson who would have a soccer ball and when playing withe friends you find that you ar losing and not having fun, throw toys out of pram and take ball and leave, thus ruining the “fun” for everyone else.

Bungie? You realize 343 made Halo 5 right?
Sorry but if the game is a laggy mess and has major issues which we have all seen in videos, is a gamer meant to just stay in the game and accepted it?
If you love the game as as you think then I would presume that at the time when things get really bad i.e laggy, then take a break and play somthing else.
If you don’t want to play something else and want to play Halo then take the rough with the smooth. i.e 1 game pubstomp the opposition, next game serious lag due to someones awfull internet and lose.
As it states in the menu for selecting a game type excessive quiting could lead to some sort of punishment, this also applys to tk-ing, afk/afc, and lots of suicides.
It’s their game and they set the rules.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That was comedy gold! You being serious? So basically you quit for any reason you see fit, and then wonder why you get banned? Are you for real?
Honestly I can’t believe I just read that. Enjoy your ban, and remember that they stack up so the next one will be even longer.
While in this case I don’t really think you’ve played the game in the most conducive way, with all the purposeful quitting just because of team dissatisfaction, why not just suck it up and try your best to enjoy playing, whether you win or lose?
I tend to win 50% of my games, but even when taking a flogging I suck it up and remember that I play the game to have fun, not always win.
I have to point out that more than ever I am seeing threads about bans “for no reason” coming from people who I think are sincere in their points that the servers have randomly booted them and then they’ve been banned for it.
As I am one of them.
I do not understand why that problem doesn’t seem to be getting more attention from 343i or the community.
