BANNED FOR NO REASON! ADMIN PLEASE UN BAN ME!

Hi, I at some point yesterday got my account banned from earning xp. I’m assuming its from letting my little nephew with -Yoink!- play all afternoon and he probably was not being active during a few rounds and apparently got my account reported. I do not deserve to be locked as I’m not a hacker/booster or any of those things…I am competely legit player…haven’t even used double xp codes for that matter. Can an admin please contact me and help get my account off this xp ban ?I’m sooo close to lvl 50. Bluebomber187

Sorry to hear about this, though you should post this in The Official Halo 4 Ban Thread.

Wow. Just handing out bans left and right… So if a horrible player keeps joining games and can’t manage to get a kill, but may possibly still be having fun… they can get banned?

It absolutely sucks to hear people get banned for this.

I don’t understand why they added a J.I.P system, while there’s quit bans.

Stop AFKing and blaming it on your imaginary nephew. That is the best advice anybody can offer you.

I swear I will get banned if that is the case.

For example I won a game of Regicide yesterday. Was so happy (considering I normally suck) but then next game I couldn’t get a kill due to lag. I think I ended up with four kills that game.

I keep thinking that there will be one game where I cannot get a single kill and I will end up getting banned. Pretty horrible thought for an Ethical Gamer (that’s what the EG in EG NeoMorph stands for if you want to know).

idle ban is legitimate. If you go idle a few game it bans u from getting credits.

Idle include earning 0 points to prevent people from just sticky a thumbstick to the side and walking away ect.

If it really happend that way sorry bro thems the breaks. It does happen that way but to many people also just say, oh it was my brother ect.

I for one think the bans are good, 1 out of 4 games I seem to play have someone farming XP and not playing

It says in the ban thread that someone else playing is your fault, you should be in control of your account and if you allow someone else to play its your responsibility.

I see nothing wrong with these bans.

They shouldn’t ban people, they should just reset peoples ranks like in Halo Reach. Halo 3 never had this issue as levelling was never a grind, it was about skill. Just saying.

I partially agree. It’s just like if you let an unlicensed driver operate your vehicle… you will both get in trouble for it. You’re responsible for your own account and property… If this is legitimate, then perhaps allow your nephew to play split screen with you instead.

Yeah, looking through his record there quite are a few matches where he got 0 points in the game.

Its a sad tale of woe to be sure, but maybe next time make a spare account for such play

Your account is your responsibility at all times, in all ways on Xbox LIVE and in all games played…the whole blaming it on someone else excuse doesnt get you off the hook for whatever violation led you to a ban, neither does what ever disability the other person(s) has

Come Back when the ban is lifted
