When it comes to teammates doing poorly, I do enjoy actually taking a second to try and suggest things they can do to improve, or even show them first hand how they can take on situations differently. Although fairly difficult with randoms thanks to how 343i implemented voice and text chat, then seemingly have them off by default, meaning most people will unfortunately ever be able to hear you. No helpful advice, no important information, ect. can be relayed to them, which means there’s only so much I can provide.
I generally do well in matches, sometimes my kill:death ratio dips, mostly in objective games modes that aren’t slayer, due due to kill:death ratio not really all that important. I aim to at least be useful and productive with my team, although I often hold back so I don’t just flat out destroy the other team, since most people are seemingly still learning the game from my experience.
I actually do enjoy being a team player though, something it sometimes seems people have forgotten over the years what that actually means. I always like to associate it with good sportsman ship, like you see in sports.
