My gamertag is RTx4 Instinct. A friend and I were just starting a game of Team Slayer on Plaza when I received an important phone call that lasted 2-3 minutes. I came back to play and I had been booted from the game back to the home screen. A message had appeared in red saying “the banhammer strikes.” I was gone for no longer than 3 minutes. Is there any way that I can have this ban lifted? I am not trying to hide or cheat the system. I have always been a loyal and honest halo player. My account functions in all other aspects of Xbox live; it just will not let me play any games in the arena at the moment.
Thanks.
The banhammer is know for it’s inconsistencies in punishment. It sucks, but just play another game for the next couple hours.
Don’t bother checking his profile people, from now since Jan 9th, he’s only had 1 DNF.
It is only temporary. I had an inactivity ban once that only lasted like 5 to 10 min. It still let me play Warzone.
Bans are automated so there are no appeals.
If it’s a first offense, your ban should be very brief.

<
This was a big help . Just got banned for inactivity because I stepped away from the game for maybe 1 minute, which isn’t exactly fair …

Please don’t revive 2 year old topics thanks. For any queries relating to the ban system, please use the ban thread pinned at the top of the support forums
