So today I’ve played a few rounds of Extinction while Double EXP is active. Played every game, I left while in queue one time to see about some information regarding the flooding taking place in Houston, as I am from Texas and have family and friends that live in Houston. I was quite worried. I came back and got the typical “Wake up, John” message and went back to playing. I got through one more game before I’m suddenly notified “You’ve been banned for idling.” I idled one time today. It frustrates me that 343i will ban people for grabbing something to eat, going to the restroom, or even if it’s an emergency. I can understand if they idle several games in a row, but one time because I have a life outside of a video game? I rfuse to take this ban lying down, I had no infractions prior. In all my years of playing Halo I’ve never been banned or broken rules before. I have a pretty clean slate.
